If you've never been to this event, you don't know what you're missing! The event is part of Portland's Rose Festival and the weekend is shared with SCCA. For those of you looking for a LOT of track time this is your chance. In addition to the track time for the PCA races, licensed SCCA racers can also run multiple grids there, including one grid that is for Porsches only.
The feature race of the SCCA weekend is the Rose Cup which is the oldest amateur road race on the West Coast. To win you have to be FAST (think faster than front running GT-1 cars). The crowd will be big so it's your chance to show off in front of a lot of fans and treat them to some smokin' burnouts after you win the race.

This year’s races promise to be fantastic as we’re working on some interesting things including: cool gifts/contingencies/prizes, significantly increased advertising and spectator recruitment efforts by the Rose Festival Committee, increased sponsorship, and much more. If our race ends up being even 1/2 the success of CFOS (as top notch as any event I've raced at) you can bet it will be an amazing weeekend.

If you are not currently a licensed Porsche Club racer, now is your chance! All rules and licensing procedures can be found at http://www.pca.org/clubrace/ . The PCA grid gets more track time and more racing than any other grid during the weekend. If early estimates prove accurate, it’s likely that we’ll have 40+ Porsches on track for each race.
I hope to see each and every one of you racing at this year’s event. Please contact me with any questions. I can be reached at steve_haywood@hotmail.com or on my cell phone at 425-830-5540. Have a great season and I hope to see you at Portland this year!
