Our next TT will be at
Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch the weekend of June 16-17. For all you dads out there, start dropping hints now that it makes a great Father's Day gift. Spring Mountain is
the favorite track of many of our regulars, with its unique combination of technical as well as higher speed sections and a length in excess of 3 miles.

My Vegas racer buddy has heard that Spring Mtn will be members and guests only in 2008. Is this true?

We have signed contracts for our events at SMMR this year, so these events are DEFINITELY happening. In addition to the Corvette and Radical schools and the private motorsports club (which has some exclusive member days right now), it's now home to the official new Lotus school. Is it possible that in the future they won't rent to clubs like ours? Sure, anything's possible. Hopefully that won't be the case though because many drivers feel this is the most fun track around.
But just in case we can't ever get it again, sign up now to ensure you get to experience it at least a couple more times! This Friday (June 1) is the last day to do so at discounted rates.

Monday the 11th is the last day to sign up before the price goes WAY up. Be sure to send in your form this weekend if you think you might go. Otherwise, just show up at the track with lots of money, a car that will pass tech, and a list of your driving experience if you've never run with us before.
As of now, temps are looking good in the high 90's (which is nice because it can be significantly hotter there this time of year). Should be a blast! See you in Nevada.

We spoke with track management about the "no club rentals" rumor for 2008 and beyond. Unfortunately, it's looking like that's a fact. We have been advised to put in date requests just in case, but that as of now Spring Mountain is likely going to try to not do rentals next year and instead use all the days for its private motorsports club members and the Corvette, Radical and Lotus schools.
Therefore, unless you're planning on joining Club Spring Mountain, our September dates may sadly be your last chance to drive your Porsche on that track. This event is going to be run in conjunction with Las Vegas Region and we expect significant sign-ups. Drivers will be limited to 80 participants maximum (20 drivers in 4 groups, max), first come, first served. Therefore, if you'd like to guarantee yourself a space at this memorable event, it's not too early to sign up. Please use the link below and fax in your entry. Cards not charged until after the event.

Love to, and I'm looking into it, but last we checked it was too expensive.

How about the outside course....it's a blast! Maybe cheaper??? Technical like Pahrump, but closer to the Strip.

I 2nd the motion for Las Vegas outside course ---terrific, technical track --you guys would love it!!
POC voted overwhelmingly in favor of the outside course over the inside track after having done both several times.

I was referring to the outside track. The inside track is off the charts expensive.
How much did POC charge drivers for this year's outside track event? How many drivers?
I went to an event there last year and it had about as many drivers as we usually have but the price was $500 per driver. Dan, would you be willing to pay more than our usual fee to drive there?
