OK, I'll ask - what will be the difference between a "Grudge Match AX" on the 6th and a "normal" AX held on the 7th?

Do you run two cars at a time like SCCA Prosolo?

No, the "Grudge Match" is just a "no-points" repeat of the Parade autox track design, while the 7/7 event is a standard PCA-SDR autox event for points in the season championship series, and will have a new and different track design. Run format will be the same for both.

The "Grudge" part of the event is so you can prove to your competitors that if you only had one more lap at the parade ax... (or two or twelve)
And bench racing fodder for the people that didn't make under the AX deadline.
Should be interesting. Maybe get all the KP drivers together, put their keys and $100 in a hat and whatever keys you pull out of the hat you run.
Winner gets the hat and remaining contents.

I like that "hat" thing!

Money or not.

Muchas gracias to Christy and everyone who made this event happen, on top of all the extra work for the Parade. I really appreciated having a chance to see the Parade AX course from the driver's seat, even though I was not a Parade participant. I'm sure there were others who ran on Friday who felt the same way.
Many thanks,
TT

I echo Tom's comments above. In addition, really liked the format. Only way that particular format could be improved upon would be four run groups vice three so that you had the time immediately after your own runs to cool off and take tire temps!

It was great fun and a great format. I definitely enjoyed the track and seeing how close you could get to the TTODs of the Parade event. Thanks to Christy and all the volunteers for pulling it off.

Christy deserves a big thank you for this one. If she had not stepped up to the plate and said she would organize the impossible it would not have happened. Thanks Christy.
