Ok kids,
Are you ready for the next AX on Oct 13th? Not too many left if you are in a points battle or just want to come out and play. Jennifer and I are almost finished with our pre registration duties and we are advising you of the upcoming deadline which is Tues 10/9. After that price goes up to $60, no exceptions so start faxing them in! By the way, we are training the next chairs to be as mean as we are so look out...

Where is everybody? David Kochanek is designing another great track and we are looking forward to autocrossing again.
We will have a Driver Dinner registration table with lots of goodies to bribe you - so don't forget your money!

($15 per person - Visa/MC, checks and cash accepted)
The Oct. 13th AX $40 registration deadline is tomorrow at midnight. See you Saturday.

Another AX!!! Already!

It seems like it was just a couple of months ago we had one. I can't wait to get out there and have some fun. I've got new tires to burn up and I'm looking forward to another challenging Kochanek course design.

ANOTHER set of new tires? Isn't that the third set this year??
I am really looking forward to this weekend, it's been too long.

Autocrosses? Yeah, I remember them. It was way back in the summer of ought-seven as I recall. Back then the tracks were all uphill, and we had to drive 200 miles to get to the track, and that was just in the stadium parking lot, sonny...
Ok, so I'm a little slow getting my registration in, but I will be there. I just need to remember - is it "slow in, fast out" or "feed a cold, starve a fever"?

Jennifer and Kim,
Really, I have been scheduly challenged. The last event I did was the streets of willow in Feb. Starving to take the pony out for a ride.
And I still I may not run... My girlfriend may drive the superturbo this weekend. It will be her first event. She has driven the car a few times but we have to do more "checkout" before the weekend.
Should be very entertaining! I wouldn't want to be in the passenger seat....
Maybe she can request a female DI ? Any volunteers?
George

Hi George - welcome back and that is what Martin said about me when he invited me just to run for fun at a 'Bring Your Other Car' AX. I remember the first run of the first practice session with him as my Instructor. His first comment was, "WOW" - surprised I was actually going for it!

We will take good care of your Gal and have one of our excellent Instructors for her. You just may be surprised too!
Last chance to save $20

Deadline is midnight tonight for the $40 price for the AX this weekend. Hey George, I'd be happy to instruct your girlfriend. I'm always up for the fear factor of the right seat!

Jackie: I can vouch for that! She even rode with me. Of course, after that there was some sort of sort of mumbling about being crazy or something like that.

Chuck,
Anyone who knows you and is in their right mind would not ride with you.

Whaaaat?

Dave,
So for the record, Chuck and I both might take offense to that one! NOT.

Jackie,
You didn't know about Chuck. You're the one to put us wise to not ride with Chuck.

Ya--the '68 is still in the shop, but I'm going to co-drive George Taylor's HI car and try to remember how this autox thang goes before next season....
