I recently picked up a very large Chevy 1-ton cargo van that I can lend out if anyone needs it. I am going to try to go up to my shop in Escondido tomorrow if the roads are not closed (too much traffic today).

We also have a spare bedroom and garage space, Allied Gardens 92120 (near Qualcomm). No apparent fire danger here.

Please do not hesitate to ask, WE ARE ALL FAMILY HERE!!

I have an lot that is fenced and adjacent to our 24 hour animal hospital. Able to hold vehicles/horses etc. We have about 10 vehicles there now and can accomodate another 50. Also still have dog and cat space free for fire evacuation victims.

Does anyone have any info about Glenn?
He lives in the Ramona area!
He lost his house in the Cedar fire in 2003. Praying that his house has been saved this time around.

Martin and I have been concerned about Glenn but have not heard anything. However, Kim Crosser has confirmed that his family's house was destroyed in RSF. He has the best attitude that so many people are exhibiting, that he and his family are safe and they will rebuild.

Stay safe everyone!

Jennifer

I hope all the PCA guys and friends stayed out of harms way.

Yvonne and I live in South Mt. Helix, directly north of Mt Miguel.
At 4am Tuesday morning as the power was flickering the approaching Mt Miguel fire hit our safety zone cut off point so we evacuated.
We could of risked staying later but I wanted to avoid any chance of being stuck in a mandatory evacuation traffic jam.
Yvonne drove the pick up full of stuff and I drove the green and white Simone hot rod. (see avatar)
8 west at 4am to Pt Loma with Yvonne and the 4 cats safely in tow.
I thought hey it's easy to feel good when you are driving your favorite Porsche. :D
Mark and Karen Tyler have a large place and were very nice to offer us shelter.
We arrived about 4:30 am watched the TV news for updates as we safely relaxed with a nice bottle of red.
Thank you Mark and Karen for being so helpful.

My neighbor took these photos as we prepared to leave.

I'm very sorry for any losses incurred by our members and families. Having been evacuated for fires three times over the years without loss makes me feel like our luck is running thin. Anyway, we were evacuated from Escondido on Monday but the main front passed through South of us into Rancho Bernardo and further West.

We are back home now (Tues PM)and keeping an eye out for wind changes.

I am very sorry to hear about your losses Kim. If you need anything, let us know.

We are at the beach in Del Mar, so everyone comes here for fires. Unfortunately, this time at 8:30PM last night we got the reverse 911 and had to leave with the other people staying with us. Fortunately, we are now back and have room again if anyone needs it.

Stay safe...

I tried to reach Glenn with no success. I called his cell, work and home numbers. On a positive note, the answering machine at their house picked up.

We have room for a car or two, off street. Also a good fenced yard for a dog, if need be.
