My dad has that. It is pretty nice, much better than my Logitec Wingman, but then it is 4x more $$$. Good practice with shifting, though I find it more difficult than a real car to shift.

I thought about bringing it for demonstrations at tonights chalktalk, but too many other things seemed more important.

The best game we have found is GTR2 with Need for Speed Porsche Unleashed the second best.

Great stuff! Why don't they make any quality stuff for the Xbox 360? That's what I get for letting my son make the decisions.

I have one and I use it with my PS3. I use it with the F1 game on PS3 and a Rally game. I can t wait for Gran Turismo 5 to come out this Xmas.

See these videos of the game

Also check out this game, it s called Rfactor. I was told by a driving instructor for Skip Barber that many professional drivers and ALMS drivers use this game to learn the tracks becasue the physics were so accurate.

Road America:

Here is the same video but with an onboard view

and to see how realistic this game is supposed to be, here is a video comparison of Massa's pole lap at Suzuka with 1 screen showing his lap with the simulator and 1 screen showing his real lap.

Jad and Tawfik, I had a feeling you guys have one. :D

I am thinking of building a dedicated simulator this winter similar to this from frex.com http://www.frex.com/gp/tips/index.htm but using the Logitec G25,a PS3 and a Windblows PC for rFactor.

I think Jennifer will love this nice piece of furniture in one of our living rooms

rFactor runs on MS-Windows only and you can download it from http://www.rfactor.net/ for try/buy for $39.99.

I have one for my PC. GREAT! GREAT! GREAT!

Here is a picture of my setup. This is an older picture before the G25.

I like a wide range of games from GT Legends to FlatOut2.

The G25 comes with R Factor.

I just have gran turismo on PS2 but it's on a powergrid system (isometric) which builds upper body strength. It you've come to the board meeting at our house, you've seen it. Now it's moved from the living room to our bedroom, so when my friends come over, they can't kick my butt anymore. (You know who you are). Everybody needs an edge so why not have fun while doing it?

I TOTALLY want one of these things!! Too bad it won't run on a MAC. It can go in our funky Swiss Chalet room (70's house). 50 days until Christmas... I'll even wear my racing shoes, gloves and helmet when I'm using it if it will help me.

:D

Would anyone be interested in some network racing as a group?

Tawfik: HANS  Maybe when we get the seats mounted on hydraulics

Chris nice setup, two wheels. I am interested in playing online as soon as I built my setup. I need to find an Intel box with a decent graphic card which I can use as dedicated game machine, since rFactor won't run on my OS X or Linux boxes
