Trailer Rental?

If anyone has an open trailer (or knows someone w/ one) that they'd be comfortable renting on the weekend of Dec. 1st and 2nd for the TT in Buttonwillow, please let me know. Lewis advertises one for rent in the classifieds here, but someone beat me to it (this person got TTOD again - this time to the trailer!).

Thanks in advance.

I have one that several people have rented in the past and so far is unspoken for that weekend. It is even "experienced" at carrying 993's since three different ones have been on it so far, along with 944, 931, 951, 911, 928, and some other marques. PM me if interested.

Lol. I wouldn't count on that Dave. I'll be happy if the car just makes it through the weekend.

This is starting to sound like a 993 NA challenge event? Maybe I won't be selling!

The last I heard 4est was going to try and make it. I'm pretty sure Glenn is coming too. Another great weekend of 993's chasing each other. I look forward to seeing you guys there and trying out my new tires.

Yeah, I'll be there! Dying to try out the new setup. Genuine Porsche Motorsports GT2 Bilsteins with H&R main and helper springs, finally lowered and setup purely for the track. An old Alex Job Supercup wing from '98 (painted and looking nice) with a GT2 CF blade (Thanks Dave). Lexan and polycarbonate all around (weight empty during corner balancing 2503 lbs). New Hossier Grand Ams. Car should be responsive enough to throw my sloppy driving butt off the track at will

. Just waiting for an ABS brain from Todd up at LA Porsche Dismantler, and then finish getting it put back together.... (fingers crossed)

Forrest, glad to hear you'll make it. Pm me if you need a hand or to haul something up. First time @ BW and I'll be bringing the motorhome.
By the way great article in Windblown about your history! Can't wait to check out the car.

Rick,
Feel welcome to come by the house and turn wrenches next weekend. The list seems to get longer by the day. Most of the fabrication is done, except for the new front splitter I have in mind. While I have the 993 contingents attention, does anybody want my Turbo S (Aero Kit II) rear wing? It looks so lonely sitting in the corner of my garage...
Can't wait to check out the motorhome!
