Just heard Michael had the top time in F1 testing in which all teams participated AND he has been riding a Moto GP bike, possibly for BMW?
I think he knows how to have fun....and make millions while doing it

I read in AutoWeek that MS was brought in for testing because he has more experience (than the current drivers) in F1 cars w/o traction control, which goes away next season.

I think he was mainly brought in because of his experience with no traction control.
He is been clocking fastes in Spain.

On a side note, Ross Brawn is now working for Honda
Perhaps Honda should bring in MS, FA and along with Brawn revive the Japanese giant

Rumor is that Renault has Alonso thanks to Telephonica paying the bill for his salary. Hmmm, Schumacher would be the perfect teammate for teaching Hamilton for 1 season

I m pretty sure FA will go to renault. I believe the disagreement is that FA wants only to sign for 1 year at renault while one of the spanish sponsors wants at least 2 committed years.
I guess this why they call it the silly season.

Schumacher was also fastest on Day 2 in Jerez. I'd love to see him get another go with the young bucks with no TC. But, he would never go to or help McLaren for all the beer in Bavaria.

It seems to me that Renault loses twice: they have to put up with Alonso and they sent Kovalainen packing!

Yup.
But they got rid of Fisi and got Nelson Piquet Jr who has been really good in GP2.
Looking forward to next season and especially to the night race in Singapore as I am trying to go there.

It happens...
Today Hamilton gave up his drivers license and Mercedes on the spot to the french police for a month, after being caught in a radar trap at 196 km/h. I wonder if he was showing his new team mate Kovalainen the line

Do you think the officer said, "who do you think you are, Fernando Alonso?"

This reminds me of a story about James Hunt (F1 driver in the 70's (Hesketh and Marboro Mc Laren)). He was pulled over in Brazil and gave the officer his FIA license. The officer was not amused.

Does this mean I can give my Zone 8 TT permit to the CHP. They have a keen sense of humor, right?!
Tawfik, you'll love Singapore. It's a lot like Hong Kong, only cleaner...
