I don't believe that the snaps and buckles would survive a 5mph parking lot impact. Then again, if your head is only worth $25...

5 mph should be ok. I don't think it will work over 8 mph  I can't believe how cheap and hokey that thing looks.

Next you're going to tell me the Velcro patch on the back of my helmet isn't an approved H&N device.

It s amazing what people will sell :)
Looking closer at thing (I won t even call it a H&N device), it seems to me that in a collision, while the body is moving forward that that the helmet strap will pull the head back and probably keep the head with the helmet.

don't worry, I am sure the plastic buckles and snaps will break WAY before it has any serious impact on what your head will do.

What "sports car", we won't even go to racecar, has headrests like that anyway (at least since the 911's from the early 70's, oh wait, now I know the target market, Dan A. don't do it! )

All of the rednecks in the South will think it's great, just like their NASCAR idols wear. Can you see one of these in the General Lee?

 That is one easy way to get rid of them. Gotta love how this works with a 3 point belt system. While the hips and head stay in place the torso moves forward braking the (red)neck backwards.

If you take a look at the other items this guy is selling it will all make sense.
First you buy the gold making machine he is selling:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Plans-making-gold-d ... enameZWDVW
then in order to get to the gold nugget faster than your redneck buddies you need the super power making chip for your car:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Power-fo ... dZViewItem

and of course since your car is so much faster you need to make sure you get the new enhanced HANS device posted previously in order to save your neck.

Mark: just bought the Black Box and it should be here in time for Button Willow! Can't wait for the extra HPs.

WDUT: should I buy the Gold Making Plans as well? We could be running Gold Member at BW!

Sweet!!!! Once we get the black box installed, we'll be uncatchable by anything except the General Lee and those pesky Duke boys!

The scariest part is he has nearly 100% positive feedback. It would appear, people are buying and using his stuff. Yikes.

I believe it was P. T. Barnum that said "There's a sucker born every minute". With eBay and the Internet this guy seems to be finding a lot of them.
