I won't be able to submit the results file to the webmasters until this evening. In the meantime, here is a list of everyone's best timed run. Thanks to everyone who showed up.

Glad the weather improved.
Kris congrats on your TTOD!
It would appear Buttonwillow is your kind of track. :D
So Jim finishes ahead of Jad?
Why the DNF?
I missed not being there but for all the racers I bet that was a long drive to the track in the rain Friday. :?

Where are all the AR cars??? We're gonna have to do something about this
WTG Kris...nice to see some new faces up top.

I think these are just practice times not the TT results. Nevertheless, way to go Kris! Your times have been dropping fast. Keep the pressure on the KI folks and the rest of the group.

Meanwhile the POC Willow Springs finale was fun and SD was very well represented. I'll let Jim Copp and John Payne tell the story of their GT2 battle.

Well, it turns out our gas gauge stops at a 1/4 tank. We did not know this  I had been running 2:02 pretty easy and was hoping to get a 2:00.xx in timed runs. Went out for the warm up lap and every corner the car died  made it back to the pits taking corners VERY slowly but TTOD was gone for me. Put gas in the car and my dad ran his with no issues. It can be so fun learning a new car!

Interesting story?
I see Jim made it into the top 10 without a problem...
Team orders?
Did he hold Jad up in the pits just long enough so he couldn't complete his
entire qualifying lap?

Rumored statement from Max Mosley:
"There is an official FIA investigation being conducted and we will have a statement later this week when we have a chance to speak at length with the race stewards from this event.

Thanks, Mike. The rain was painful going up on Friday, but the weekend was beautiful except for a little wind around lunch time Saturday.

Note that the new offramp had a gasoline spill so we ran the traditional buttonhook configuration for T2.

Thanks, Jim. It is most certainly easier to score well when all the AR cars are at a different event. :)

Thanks, Pete. Those are the timed runs results above. Both Jad and Steve E. had us covered with 2:02.xx in practice, so mentally I was battling for third with Robert and Martin.

As to the POC GT2 Championship, it's quite a story, but rather than taking up too much space here in the PCA site let me direct you to this thread on the POC WEB site. And, thanks for asking!!

It was one hell of a year for both Jim and me!!!

Thanks, Mark.
It's going to be great to see Erik continue to improve. I'm sure he'll make his mark in POC.
