OK, the first half of the track was just a bit tight for a 928, I was sideways until about the Budweiser sign and then it opened up for more fun.
Thanks to everyone for starting off the new year with a great event.
Thumbnails of my pictures are up on Flickr:

Reminder to self--for pics of car on track, do NOT get assigned to the same run group as Greg... :(

Yes, I too have known the dispair of discovering that you are in the same run group with the photographer. That's why it's great that we often have more than one at the autocross. We try to cover what the other guys miss as much as possible.

(As long as they are in a different run group, Greg and Ted are my heroes.)

Greg and Ted should have their own run group :burnout:

Perhaps some of you were photographed by one of our other photographers...

Check this out. Please thank phigr@pacbell.net who sent his link to the AX Team.

I worked corner six for the first sessions. Afterward I was trying to find Greg (no luck - couldn't find him) to let him know there were some great photo ops there. Most of the 911's were getting some inside front wheel lifts there. One or two, I could have sworn, lifted both inside wheels.

BTW Jackie, that was a very fun track design. Thanks!

I usually try to steal Greg's camera when he is running, but I got side tracked when Dan C. kept "adjusting" my tire pressures and ArmorAlling the tires for me. Thanks Dan, but the sides are supposed to be shiny not the tread...

I will promise to do a better job in Greg's run group and a better job on the track... Nobody wants to be around Dan with 2 BRI's!

So there was "sabotage" involved in Dan's IS-class victory and #1 BRI placing? Do tell!

Autocross Video

We have some in-car video of Keith V. and Jad Duncan at the following link:

http://www.pcasdr.org/img/2008/photos/2 ... nAutoX.htm

The other video got messed up when uploading to YouTube and I'll have to do it again (the formatting changed).

If anyone would like me hook up my camera inside their car and make a video tape at the next autocross, please let me know. I need some volunteers. Thanks.

Ted

I particularly enjoy the action shots of my red boxster pretending it was a rocket ship at liftoff. They help me play the sympathy card with friends/family.

Steve:

SORRY! I was just trying to help! Someone once told me "Keep the shiny side up." Well, every time you came into the pits, the shiny side of your tires weren't up, so I fixed 'em up for you with a little more ArmourAll. Gee ... how's I s'posed to know ....

I think Ted needs a Huge pat on the back for his awesome photo work.

Check out the Photos page... and he gets that stuff up fast!
Nice job Ted.

Can you easily hook up to a analog lipstick cam?

Pretty good driving Dan...
I am planning on running the entire season so keep the detail product to yourself.
I don't plan on letting you off this easy in the future.
Gloves are coming off for next event... you're getting waxed by a overweight daily driver convertible...
If I lose, I'll ArmorAll your tires....
