See announcements:

I threw down the challenge at SDR'S awards party! :D

.....and was told "privately" OCR and the rest of the "Little Davids" would have our helmets handed to us.

YET I only see two of you "big bad" SDR drivers signed up?

So.... COME JOIN THE FUN!

David who? Who's David? I don't think David can even drive. We need lots of drivers from San Diego to go up to El Toro to whip up on this David character to teach some respect.

It's a short 50 minutes up the 5 from Carlsbad, and the track surface is much better than at the Q. The track designer is David Palmquist and he always draws something fast for the cars that like to breathe.

Plus, it's a Zone 8 event and Neil will be happy with you.

As an aside, OCR has been selling out their AX's and they have some very competitive drivers up there, and I don't just mean Lisa Eguina.

I've signed up for the event but I seriously doubt my times will be one of SD's best 5. Come on guys, we need the really good BRI guys there.

I think Steve Eguina is far smarter than you all are giving him credit. He says let's do something towards the end of the year and then secretly schedules an event between streets a SDR AX and Fontana.
I for one am out of tires in my corral of BRI built SC's.
Plus that is the day after our Tech inspection school... I am getting weekended out here.
Then determines OC starts at Torrey Pines...

Does this mean that SD is expecting Dano to save us?

It looks like Steve G may be right and Steve E is the wicked wizard of the North. :?

We need DanO and Jess O to clean up on the BRI.

Janet and I will be there but I'm not sure the new Q class will do me any favors.

Contact Steve Eguina dirctly. He will find a way to get you in.
If he says no, tell him he is looking for excuses to make sure there are less people from SD :)

AH YES Goliath is already "Late to pregrid!"

I sent Lisa Goetch (OCR's Registration guru.)the following e-mail

Please e-mail her and we will find a way :D
AutoXreg@gmail.com

-----------------------------------------------------
Lisa,
I just noticed Bill and Tami are part of the SDR "GOLIATH". I think in order to be fair we should find a way to let the SDR folks into the event.

However, since the event has an entry cap and to assure OCR and the rest of the "David's" have the upper hand we need to let them know our Tech Team 8) will be adjusting their tire pressures.

Thanks Steve

Transaxle ... my world for a transaxle. I'll have to "put on my cape" another time. The SC's still in 200+ pieces. :?

The season is far from over. Let's not worry about the OCR-Noise-Makers just yet.

I would love to be there, but this is just bad timing for me. :( Perhaps we could repeat this in June (when there are no SDR AXs)?

You got it Kim :D

My plan was two events in "Goliaths" home of San Diego (Your Zone 8 events would work) but still to be confirmed and yes the next one in OCR is June 1st (Z8) Event.

Bring it in June Kim or.....:surr:
