The Smurfmobile in the new Excellence mag....

Postby ttweed on Thu Mar 13, 2008 12:13 pm

The May issue of Excellence arrived in my mailbox today, and even through the plastic wrap, I thought I recognized a car on the cover. Sure enough, on pg. 84 is a Zachary Mayne article on driving Mark's Blue Meanie at one of our autocrosses last year. It is very well written, with some nice pictures, and the full story on the build from an engineless SC to where it sits today. Kudos to Mark (and Erik!) for getting some well-deserved recognition.

It was the first article I turned to and read. Nice job Kinningers. :) It was nice to see Excellence do a a good job detailing the build.

cars & mags

Postby GT3Girl on Fri Mar 21, 2008 8:33 pm

Hey! My car appeared in Modified Luxury & Exotics and Porsche Austrailia...And a couple of other ones. In fact, in the Australian one, I'm on the same page with Sunset Thomas... And that's gotta count for something =))

 :o

By the way, CONGRATS Mark & Erik ;-)
