Morgan Trotter and I are racing up at El Toro this weekend at the SCCA ProSolo Series Round 1.
Morgan is in 4th Place, and I am in 2nd in H-Stock. We have one more session Sunday morning to improve our times before the Super Challenge (all class winners compete on an Indexed/head-start timer...very fun).
ProSolo is a lot of fun, think drag-racing + autocross + two mirror image courses!

Interesting. Hard pull on the clutch at the start. Cruising on the rev-limiter mid-course, 1 shift ... first to second ... for the whole lap. Hmmmm. I don't know .... looks like a great event ... for the mechanics.

KIDDING!! JUST KIDDING!!
Looks like you and Morgan are doing a fine job or representing the San Diego driving squad. Keep up the good work, and good luck to both of you!

Haha, actually the rev limiter hits in 2nd gear at about 55mph, not enough time to shift to 3rd and back to second gear for those sections.
All Wheel Drive launches a bit differently, but good for 1.6-1.9 second 60' times if done properly.
Steve Eguina stopped by yesterday.
Gary Thomasen in his black GT3 won Super Stock, of 17 drivers with lots of Corvette's, Lotus Elises, etc.

Seems like the Chula Vista Photo Race Team is on the way. Hopefully the people will be knocking down the doors of the studio. More business, more money to spend on cars and boats. Just wait until the CV Photo 944 is done. It is with the cage builder now.

Cage builder? Oh, Ron. You ought to be careful of the wording you choose. There's just soooo much opportunity with the idea of cages .... that wild Trotter clan .... all that stuff.
Seriously, I'm looking forward to seeing the project upon completion. Good luck with everything.
