So would I
I need to know direction for car set-up and bowl or not.
No bowl-No Go
I am sure knowing this will help boost attendance-Jack
There is enough information from other clubs to know the issues of all the options.
I say C/CW with the bowl is the way to go. None of us have run this configuration so it should be an even playing field.
Not afraid I might beat you this time are you Jack?
I'm sure Kary could sell you another set of those cheater tires again.

Kary,
I will bring my tire durometer to the next race and we can do a real world test. I am thinking those brand new suction cups you sold Jack are softer than my second hand, overly heat cycled undersized cast offs.
And that is the story I am sticking with...(As a matter of fact that's the only thing I've got that sticks)

I want to run it with the bowl too. If we run it without the bowl, what is our incentive to do it with SDR instead of with POC the preceding weekend for $95 less?

Just a thought on direction. As I recall, last year the option of running CCW was brought up and disgarded due to the possible launching ramp scenario going into the bowl from the back straight going in that direction.
Also, FYI, I think the POC voted not to use the bowl with new or student drivers in the ST series.

Appears to be a serious bowl movement.
CW or CCW I agree.

I have 4 Big Willow track days between now and SOW, to be honest not sure what tires I'll have left?
If I do run (more potent) 15" slicks I'll be in AR so that should not be a factor for the AM gang.
Hope to see you and the gang there!

We're not much of a "gang" Mike. You heard we ALL lost to Jad in that freaking Death Star looking d@mn waterpumper. That doesn't sound like much of a tough gang to me. Maybe us AM pansies should start a knitting circle called Jad's B'yatches?
Maybe Mike should run in AM so maybe someone could beat Jad. He not only is sitting on a way fatter wallet from not having to spend as much as us, he is working us over like a man among eunechs.

If you average our 2 timed runs I was faster than the Deathstar, so I have that goin for me....

Funny tho, I don't remeber Jad being in AM...

Actually, I already did that test with Hoosiers, Kumhos Dunlop Suoper Sport Race, and Pirelli slicks. The respective numbers were 76, 95, 74, 42. Not sure what your Goodyear sticky tire are but we also have heat cycles on our tires too!
