PCA SDR

Chuck Sharp was caught driving an AWD Subaru Impreza this sunday at AutoClub Speedway. A tight and narrow course made for a fun autoX. My sources say he was caught grinning from ear to ear. Next month he may be co-driving the car again for the ProParts California Divisional autox. Come check it out! Cross your fingers, I would like to see this car in the trophies twice that event!

Chuck...was that really you? Josh and I were running the infield with Speed Ventures. How did you do?

Yes, I was there.
Morgan's car is quite good for this type of event. He trophied even with only driving it in a few events as this one is new to him as well. I didn't do as well. Driving it to the start line was the first time I drove it. When you are used to a 944, AWD is a little different. I was about 1.5 seconds slower than Morgan. With a little practice, I think we can both beat up on the competition. The hard part, is that with the indexing, we need to beat some of the competition by a good margin.
It's a lot of fun and different as we are competing against all brands of cars, instead of just Porsches.

There are other brands of car beside Porsche?!
