OK, I know some of you are into video games almost as much as you are your cars. So I'm wondering if anyone has tried this out and if it's a decent setup.

Mike,

I have one of these. It works pretty well. The key you see in the picture is actually a wireless USB connection for the wheel. i have it connected to my PC. I do most of my playing with my PS3 with the Logitech G25 racing wheel ( http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/gaming/playstation_3/devices/131&cl=us,en)

I have this mounted to a Playseat gaming seat. http://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&search-type=ss&index=videogames&field-keywords=Playseats

The seat with the G25 works great with PS3 games (GT5 and Formula 1)

Dave: Have you tried GRID. The new PS3 game?
It s pretty fun in career mode where you have to earn the respect of teams and sponsors and drive all kind of cars (open wheel, Sedans, etc...) even a 997 Cup car.
Many good European track including Le Mans.

I just ordered it from Amazon last week. It should be here tomorrow. It looked like a cool game. A 997 cup car, very cool. I'll have to try Le Mans and the Nurburgring in that.

Thanks Tawfik. I just downloaded the demo of GRID on the PS3. I like the graphics, the backgrounds, the crash damage and the fun factor of GRID. A must have.

After playing GRID all afternoon, I think it is now my favorite racing game for PS3.

Dave, yes, I agree the G25 is a nice wheel. I had one on loan for a while to beat GT5 Prologue. Have just the Demo version of F1 though. Am curious as to how the Porsche wheel compares to the G25. If I'm going to spend in the neighborhood of $300 for a wheel, I'd like to get one that looks and feels like a p-car. But if it's all look and no function then I'll save some cash and get the very functional G25.

I agree Grid is nice. Although, since the G25 I had is now back to the original owner trying to drive with a joystick is a pain!

Okay nerds (myself included),

You guys must all be either p.c. or ps3 players. A great game you're all sleeping on is Forza 2 for xbox 360. Forza 2 combined with the xbox wireless racing wheel is a great combo. Check it out.

IMHO I'd go with the G25. I like it much better and prefer the shifting of the G25 over the Porsche wheel. The Porsche shifter attaches via 2 poles and isn't as solid as the G25 which you can mount anywhere. It looks cool and the 2 USB wireless keys are really neat but the G25 just works and feels better for me.
