Selling on the Forum

There have been members using the forum lately to post items/cars for sale. While this is strictly forbidden under the rules of this forum we have been reminding these members individually that this is not allowed. (see disclaimer below that all registered users agreed to abide by)

When a post was there to point people to the classifieds, we have let it slide.

But now we are getting complaints from members who have wanted to post items for sale, but haven't because they knew it wasn't allowed.

So from now on no selling of items on the forum, that's what the classifieds are for. If someone posts an item for sale, it will be removed and they will be notified. If they do it again their privileges will be suspended.

The one exception to this rule will be when items are given away, such as half used race tires needing a new home.

Thanks for your understanding and I hope this is the last time we will need to visit this topic.

The question was asked if WTB (Wanted To Buy) posts are ok. Yes they are, as that is a request for help as opposed to a solicitation.
