Good point, Ted. The Trailer isn't needed too much for DE's after initial set-up. No timing. So, I guess it's possible to do a set-up, and then move the trailer to the bud sign, out of risk and harm's way. The PA and generator are portable, so we could feasibly locate a couple of tables with all the gear we need at the Trolley/south end.
Once the event is over, we only need the truck to pick-up cones, and drop them at the trailer near the Bud sign.
Chairs, Gary? Thoughts?

If you had noticed, the pavement by the trolley is the worst in the entire lot, while the best is up by the Bud sign. If it is such a big deal to pit in the north end the area from C3 to the east is open and out of the way. The track entrance and exit are easily changed.

Posted: Mon Jul 21, 2008 10:48 amI have a 5550 Watt generator that we can use. I will just need to get some help loading it up the night before. It is def. a 2 man job--and I dont think it will fit in my 944.
