Postby John Straub on Sun Aug 24, 2008 7:10 pm

It's that time of year again. Great Vintage Racing right here in our own back yard. The Coronado Speed Festival!

Dates: Saturday/Sunday, September 27-28

We are having our San Diego Region Hospitality Tent again with food and drink.

For free Corral parking for your Porsche, send a stamped self addressed envelope to me. One pass is good for both days.

Also, this year we are having a free lunch on both Saturday and Sunday. Let me know if you woild like lunch for Saturday and/or Sunday. A max of two tickets for each day. Limited number. Please be specific!!!

On Saturday night we are having a get together and dinner at Casa Gusdalajara in Old Town. The cost for that is $29.00 per person...come join the fun after the racing.

So send that envelope off now for a...Corral Pass, Lunch Tickets, and a check(made out to PCASDR) for the Dinner if you would like to go.

Don't miss out!

John -

I'm in! Thanks for taking care of this and best of luck on the track. CFOS is a great venue and very fan friendly event.

Thinking ahead to the days when the Q is likely to be gone, it sure would be great to autocross in Coronado. Security is a big issue but if we have a sympathetic ear with the Navy it would be woth a try.

Thanks Pete...I entered, but have not heard anything yet. They always wait till the last minute to let us know.

Either way, in or not, it should be a fun event!

John is getting lots of requests for Corral Passes. Don't wait to the last minute. Send in your SASE and make sure you let him know what you want (corral pass, lunch tix, etc.). Thanks!
