AX trailer help

Postby LaLa661 on Tue Aug 26, 2008 8:24 pm

So now that our fabulous autocross chairs got us more autocross dates for the rest of 2008 (thanks Ron, Bill, and Jackie!!!)...

The equipment chairs would like to beg for some help with hauling the trailer. :surr: The remainder of dates for events are:

Sat Sept 13 West lot AX
Sat-Sun Oct 4 & 5 West lot PDS
Sun Oct 26 So East lot AX
Sun Nov 16 So East lot AX
Sat Dec 13 West lot AX
Sun Dec 14 West lot DE

If there's anyone that can help out and haul the trailer down to the stadium, i know about a 120 autocrossers who would be sooooo happy and appreciative! :D :D :D

The club has set up for a rental truck so if you want to help out but don't have a truck, we have one available for use. woo hoo!!! and even just hauling for one event would be such a tremendous relief...every little bit of effort will help!

So, on the off chance you'd like to volunteer your efforts and help get the rest of the autocross events off without a hitch, please shoot me and Monica an email: equipment@pcasdr.org

Thanks!!

It's a 10,000 pound trailer. I'd recommend using a hitch.

Wow, no takers on hauling the trailer, huh? That sucks! :banghead:

What if i "sweetened" the deal? I could say....bake you a batch of your favorite cookies, or a delicious coffee cake for breakfast, or a dish of homemade chicken enchiladas, or some made-from-scratch lasagna (even the sauce is made from scratch, yum!), I could even wash & armor-all your car for you...

Whatcha think? Enticing enough? Any takers now?

Ooooh, I've had those cookies (or was it brownies...). If the meals are anything like the desserts, It's a winning proposition. If Monica and I end up pulling the Trailer, can we cash in? :beerchug:

You know it, Dan! The offer is good for anyone willing to haul the trailer --- you just gotta let me know what kind of goodies you want or if you want to barter something else in exchange: like a car wash or taking Bagoose to dog beach.

I'm hoping the enticement of goodies will help muster up some volunteers, rather than the threat of no event...we'll see if any emails pop up to Equipment...

I'll take the lasagna and the car wash for Sat Sept 13 AX and Sat-Sun Oct 4 & 5 PDS, Bob!

I was just waiting for the bribery to kick in. It's part of the new me -- switching from 'cheap, but not easy' to 'easy, but not cheap'.
