The attached link discusses a few of the Advanced competititve driving techniques used by NASCAR drivers.

The majorty of competitive drivers are unaware of the level of complexity in the techniques used in NASCAR. The following link gives an insight into just how sophisticated the strategy of driving in this series really is.
