This is a good Oktoberfest to attend. The one in La Mesa gets too crowded for me. :beerchug:

+1 - I'm hoping that our car will be running (all weekend??!!). I'll bring beer, brats and hopefully Mike and Dave will be running with me as well. It will be a good test for the car. :beerchug:

Sounds like we'll have our own Oktoberfest. For your entertainment Phil, Tim and I can do a little yodleing...
Sorry Jackie but Andrew may not be able to make it and I may have to bring the 944 if I have another "farmland excursion" as I did last week at Streets...

Gunter has joined the 993 "Splitter of the weekend" club. I think he still needs to kill at least 2 more splitters to catch me but I think he's on a roll. Between the 2 of us we'll keep Getty Design in business. :D

Good news Gunter...Dave is already one of our customers and for a small fee, Josh and I will remain at the track after the event and gather all the pieces together and ship them back to you :)

I'm not sure which one of is pushing the other harder. You were 1.5 seconds faster than me at the end of the second session.

You pushed me into cutting 2.3seconds off my time to keep up with you, well actually pass your time. :D

If it wasn't for your inspiration (read that being 1.5 seconds faster) I wouldn't have pushed so hard.

How'd Andrew take the news about losing the Streets CCW V2 record? I'm sure he'll be gunning for us.

He did not take the news about my "farming excursion" and the related car damage too well and gave me his standard:"Dad you suck" comment.
When I told him that you got his record by 4/10th he just wanted to know when the next STS was. He will be at the November event.
Dave, for the right incentive I could just not let him drive the car...
By the way- how in the world did you get into the 1:25s with the temperature being 106 and the track slippery as an Austrian country road in December-unbelievable. Great driving my friend. One of these days I'll give you some competition- I hope...

It might be advantageous to both of us if you keep him out of the 993.

As far as the time, I was ready to call it quits for the day before you pulled your 1:26. Then I decided to try some things I read in a book about mental preparation. I know some people think I'm already mental. I tried it and told myself in pre grid that if I wanted to win this it was up to me. I did the warmup lap and one hot lap. When I crossed start/finish I saw the 1:25 on the display and said OK, I'm done. That time it worked. I can't wait till the next time we compete. I hope you get the car back in shape soon.
