wtb BBS 16" 3 piece 911 rims.

Postby Mike on Thu Sep 18, 2008 5:08 pm

Looking for 5 holes on a 130mm bolt pattern, 16 inch diameter.
Need 911 bolt pattern, something like this.
Offset and barrel condition not critical as I will most likely need special offset halves.
thanks,

I have a set of early offset 16 exactly like the photos on my newest 944 in good condition. Just picked up car on Monday, so haven't thought about selling the wheels off of it but PM if interested. Also have a set of BBS 15's as well.

BBS had multiple centers, do you know what the number is on the ones you are looking for? Something like E85 or E81.

I know people who collect these wheels.

Jad sent you a pm.

Anyone know the diameter of the RS street wheels centers as seen in the photo top of thread?
fwiw I called the BBS company and they were helful about the old RS street wheel, those parts are nla.

Chances are the diameter will not fit my barrels and the BBS race wheel would be the way to go.

I'd prefer to avoid postive offset ABS style modern centers on my soon to be Simone 75 RSR.
Are all BBS 20 bolt centers made with the same offset?
On the BBS race wheel is there offset changes with the center piece between ABS and non ABS, between my smaller turbo brakes compaired to the bigger brakes?
I'm still trying to figure out the correct centers for my application.

Here is a part # on some BBS rims for sale.
BBS Center P/N 0226044 Porsche lug and center lock.
Anyone know how to read BBS part #s?
Might need to call BBS again...

Mike:

Yes, the RS wheels are no longer made, but I suspect parts can still be had (probably just seals and fasteners).

You've probably been to the BBS 3-Piece racing wheels web-site already, but in case not;

I am going to call your car The Chameleon....

dos por uno, twofer, Simone has it so both bodies can be used, take half a day to swap from 75 RSR to 95 EV02.
He just tossed a spare 935 K3 body or it could have been a threefer.

Thanks Paul, Jae Lee might make a set of basket weave wide retro 911 wheels, like his 3 pce Fuchs...
The race BBS wheels are on the back burner.

Is this for your female side when you can't decide which body style you'd like today? :roflmao:

I have found/bought sets oon E-Bay. There's only one set of 16s now, but it should work for you if you'r just looking for the centers...
