First off, there are schools already out there that teach racing. These schools discuss passing strategies, race starts, and some car handling techniques. We do not want to complete with that since it is available in a number of places. Second, we already have a performance driving school that teaches basic driving techniques that are applicable to auto-x and street driving. The school we are proposing would not be teaching these techniques obviously. So we believe that we need a school that fits inbetween schools mentioned above that would teach some intermediate to advanced driving techniques for DE/Time trailers (i.e. racetrack driving techniques).
Next we are considering using professional instructors from some of the race schools that some of us have had experience with. The location for the school will likely be a track like SOW or possibly the Q or maybe the infield of the Speedway

In order to come up with a curriculum that would fit that niche, we would like to hear from those that are interested in this type of school as to what techniques they would like to learn that they are aware of. Obviously there might be techniques that you are not aware of, but in gathering all the Reponses and working with professional driving schools we can come up with one or two curriculums for a school. We might have intermediate and advanced, we will have to see how this works out.
We want to hear what will work for you DE/Time trialers, so please post here to let us know!
Thanks!
