Who knows when we find out more about this event's results? Chuck?

I saw the video and showed it to the National Instructor. He mumbled something about NASCAR and walked away. :roflmao:

Last time we went through the program ... with Pete Tremper ... we received an email confirming our completion, and information about when we'd recieve ... via snail mail ... our cards and stickers.

So ... "patience, Grasshopper, patience." 8)

And that video of you "punting" the Honda out of the way ...

:roflmao: (I couldn't resist... Sorry, Tim.)

Got the same email this morning, but with an ADDENDUM.

It said "Exceptionally nice job at the school and don't worry about that incident with the Honda at Cal Speedway. We actually reviewed the video. The nose of your 924S was well up the side of that Honda, even though people don't realize that because they can only see the dashboard through that wide angle lens. We know that model and the 924S sticks out another 5 or 6 feet in front of the dash. The Honda turned in on you, Tim, and the NASA officials (yes, we contacted them, too) found that naughty Honda driver at fault for turning into you when you clearly had control of the turn in point. Even so, it's clear to us watching the video that you tried to avoid contact by continuing to brake hard enough to hold an inside line, depressing the clutch for a further downshift, etc. You exercised exemplary driver judgement in trying to avoid contact even though it was clearly the other drivers mistake. Now get busy down there in San Diego and teach all those NEWBIE, WANNA-BE racers how to race clean-just like you do! Especially those 2 jokers in the Martini and Gulf 911's."

So I emailed back saying that was asking alot of a hack like me, but I'd set right to work on it. You wanna be first, Dave? :P

I'll bet your email is soooo plugged up with a message like that you'll probably need Roto Router to clear it up. I think you can find them in the yellow pages under BS removal. :roflmao:

If anyone who took the National DE Instructor course has not received an email from Pete Tremper, please either PM me or email me at cdi@pcasdr.org or call me at one of the numbers in the Witness.

I will try to get an email out to all of you, but this is quicker.
