We have permission and release from liability for the car clubs (SCCA, Porsche, Karts and BMW) to patch the spots we wish with concrete on Saturday, January 10th, just over a week from now. Some of us are investigating/getting advice on "better" methods of repairing but so far they require more time/expense/coordination with the stadium, etc. than we have time for by the 10th.

SCCA did some concrete repairs recently, it's holding up well and we are following their repair method.
PLEASE VOLUNTEER TO HELP US PATCH THE WEST LOT ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 10TH FROM 9AM UNTIL ?? (probably 3-4 hours) The other Clubs are gathering 10-20 people apiece, and the more people we have, the more we can do in less time. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to play in the "mud" ....errr, concrete .... and improve our playground. The stadium will turn on a water spigot for us to use (located on the east side of the stadium - maybe we can have them find one on the west side).

The idea is for each club to bring bagged concrete, tools, trowels, mixing bins, water container.
Each club will start with 10 - 15 bags of concrete. If we need more concrete later, we'll go to Lowe's.
WHO HAS A PICKUP TRUCK THAT CAN MEET ME AT LOWE'S AT 8AM (or nearby Home Depot) to get the concrete. I'll buy.
I have a trowel, shovel and 4 plastic mixing bins. We'll need some more of these tools. LET ME KNOW WHAT TOOLS YOU CAN BRING.
DOES ANYONE HAVE A BIG WATER CONTAINER WE CAN FILL UP AND DRIVE FROM THE STADIUM FAUCET TO THE LOT?
The club's Logistics Coordinator (Gail, my wife) will bring some refreshments.
Happy New Year!
