AMB Transponder repair?

Postby Autobahn on Sun Jan 11, 2009 9:16 am

I have an AMB Tranx 260, does anybody replace batteries in them? Mine has been sitting so long that it will not take a charge. The whole inside is full of epoxy or something, so you can't even see the electronics.

Sean:

They hay a 3-year warranty, which possibly can be extended. Alternative is they may offer discount on a new one.
You should contact them with the transponder ID number, and they can check the manufacturing date based on that.

O/W, I would be surprised if they can be repaired, so if it's too old, you might be SOL.
