We are going to try having two tour leaders with one doing the route a little more "spirited" which will make it a type 3 with the other group doing a type 2.

The weather is very sketchy right now :banghead:

SATURDAY - Partly cloudy. Chance of showers in the morning - then slight chance of showers in the afternoon. Highs 37 to 47. Breezy. Chance of measurable precipitation 40 percent.

SATURDAY NIGHT - Mostly cloudy. Slight chance of showers in the evening - then chance of showers overnight. Lows 26 to 36. Chance of measurable precipitation 40 percent.

SUNDAY - Showers likely. Highs 41 to 50. Chance of measurable precipitation 70 percent.

SUNDAY NIGHT - Showers likely in the evening - then snow showers likely overnight. Lows 27 to 37. Chance of measurable precipitation 70 percent.

I drove the route on Wednesday and it is great! I still saw remnants of snow and realized that it was a good decision that Ignacio postponed the tour. There are still some minor sandy spots from water run-off, but nothing dangerous or even injurious to paint. It was cool in the mountains and warm in Borrego. :rockon:
