This Sunday's Autocross

The track map fro this Sunday's AX is up. Looks like no rain!

I think we have the kinks worked out so we all will get our runs in - and time them too.

We do need for volunteers to show up shortly after 6AM. It's critical to get the truck loaded with cones and the track thrown.

Don Auten, Martin Lipp and Jim Binford are looking in to the possibility of us being able to use the bases at Coronado and/or Imperial Beach for future AX's. There will be a representative from the US Navy attending to see how we run things.

Please volunteer to help, drive safe, have fun and wear your best Sunday whites!

We are expecting everyone to be ready for flag station inspection and at attention the way Terry is doing.
Only kidding.

Thanks for the creative track. I wish I would have stuck with French now. I hope I don't get lost at the 'the brainer' (open corner).

Tawfik - I did the french..... well, I typed my english phrase into GOOGLE TRANSLATOR. You can teach me Sunday!

Also folks, the french .... it's a bit of a stretch but this Sunday here in San Diego County is LE TOUR DE CALIFORNIA (with Lance Armstrong). I was going to do an Obama recovery theme thing but decided the TOUR thing would be better.... err.... safer.... for me!

WOW!! What a beeeeeeaaaaaauuuutiful track! GREAT job, AX team. It's got everything: measurements, diversions for obsticles, definitions ... even a little foreign language to wrestle with. The swale crossing should work, too. Awesome!

So very sorry to be missing this day/event. :banghead: I'll be in OC on an "Instruct-only" day.

I only have one request: Do it again, Do it again, Do it again!

Have fun, all. :beerchug:

Thought the track design was great. One of the best I can remember. Thanks for hosting and kicking off the season with a bang. You stay classy, San Diego.
