Sorry, I'm not going to be there (previous engagement). But I'd be willing to kick your butt any other time! 8)

If failed to mention that Martin will be driving with a 50lb ballast in his lap to offset his featherweight status.

As long as it lasts, I beat the "Maestro JAD"'s best time of 33.63 today with my time best of 33.44. :beerchug:

Jad, I know you will get it back but I have to enjoy thoses few hours

Nice driving :) Now why couldn't you do a few 32's over the weekend, that would have really helped our team!

I am going to try to make it tonight. I might get there around 5:30 and leave at 7 PM. Don't know if I will be able to race as I will have Miles with me. If I can get a 15 minute babysitter, I'll take you on. Dan C has volunteered, but I don't know when he will get there. Dan A and Curt are to chicken to show up. They will use some lame excuse like it is too far, traffic, my wife won't let me, I'm too old for that (OK, I might buy that for Dan, but Curt, come-on  )

Should be fun, though the 'special guest speaker' tends to drive like a maniac and likes passing people by taking them out according to my friends that race with him (or should I say have been crashed by him).

Hmm, I wonder if the guest speaker tonight is somehow related to "Lederhosen" guy at El Cajon Speedway from last weekend which kept bumping everyone of the track.

I'll be there at 7 to beat on all of you. Wait, I've never driven a kart before, I take that back.

I'm looking forward to tonight. I keep trying to get a couple friends down to an indoor karting track but they always have a reason they can't go...

Jad, Dave anyone ... we didn't see you at the Tech Session. It was fun other than the penalty for bumping  ( call this rubbing ).

Oh, I set the bar at 33.16

Miles and I were there from 5-7, but not enough PCAers were there for a race. Nice time, but second place? What is up with the bumping story, another Lederhosen dude? How was the tech session, having to leave as things got started was a bummer.

I have a new target, of course, you have 40+ laps to my 10, so I have several chances to catch your time with less seattime so watch out Martin! :burnout:

I heard John "Torture" Chambers was on pole for one of the races? He said it was a good-sized crowd. Said something about Martin bumping people......
Who's writing the report for the arrive and drive karting enduro?
Cheers!

I was there in Martin's run group, but I din not see any bumping, I was back in the pack, started 6th and ended 4th, best time 34.49. I was sore last night and am still sore today from the 20 laps. Right side of neck, and ribs  .
Part of the problem was that my big butt did not fit into the molded seat :? and I was perched part of the way in and holding on for dear life while left foot braking  . I did not figure out until late in the race how little I needed to brake with these things.
I was going to blame my weight for slow speeds bu Walter Neightbors was turning some times in the 33 second range

Hehehe, yes there was some unknown guy who took the whole thing way to seriously. The first time I tried to pass him on the inside he closed the door so it looked like I pushed him out; in fact he ran into me. Anyway I received a penalty that's my excuse why I couldn't catch the winner. I had fun until someone grabbed me from the back after getting out of the Kart to get physical, because when I passed the guy for the 2nd time he tried to close the door and got knocked again

David, did I see you there? Don't remember :? Chambers was on fire until he got mugged  I forgot that qualifying meant running by yourself for a fast time  instaed I I was playing NASSCAR  with some of the guys (Chris Moon :P .) I managed to pull off a 33.83 :o .

Those cars are very different than Miramar, they push when you keep your foot in it :o I found myself not breaking at all and using only throttle stear/pitch and catch :) More seat time is answer...I think a rematch is in order  .

Tim:
They have a couple of spaces to showcase cars out on the track...maybe a couple of specs for a week might generate some interest
