Spring Mtn. TT

Postby Greg Phillips on Wed Apr 29, 2009 11:12 pm

It is approaching quickly.

Start charging your transponders and getting ready.

Don't forget to check the weather report, there may be a slight chance of rain on Saturday, but it is the desert :burnout:

I'm looking forward to it!

Where's the smack talk? Anyone have a trick or two up there sleeve? Any new performance mods for anyone??

The weather should be good for some personal best times out there!

Nice, Sean but it is probably only fair to mention that I have my own performance modification... my tailpipe is much more aerodynamic after the tire barricade bent it up at Fontana.

Thanks, Bill.

The club members whooped up on us! Too bad the Duncan car broke; Jad was in the easy 29s all weekend. Nice 30, Steve E. :) Dave G., you should be proud of #1 BRI. :D

Nothing against Jad, but if his car didn't break, he wouldn't have driven mine and then my set up wouldn't be as good as it is now, so....his loss was my gain. It was a great weekend, good weather and as usual all the friendly helpful faces hanging out together. Thanks to all the volunteers, Jack and Robert. They continue to improve Spring Mtn, both the facilities and the track. If you haven't been there, this IS the one to attend AND you get a 2nd chance this year, again in Oct. BE THERE! You won't regret the drive there. I logged over 250 track miles in 2 days. Hard to accumulate that much track time in autocrossing....

Thanks to Jack and Robert for another great TT event. Spring Mt. is an awesome track. I can't wait to go back in October with a few modifications.

Thanks to Jackie and Phil for sponsoring multiple meals and the Saturday night Margarita Social. I really want that blender!

Congrats to Leigh for sandbagging all weekend and then showing us all how it's done in timed runs.

How cool is it that even though the Duncan car broke, they both got to drive timed runs. Jim in Dave Gardner's car and Jad in Greg Phillips car. I think three drivers in Greg's car may have been a little too much for the tires to handle though. :o

I can't believe that more people didn't go. It doesn't get any better than this. :beerchug:
