John,
Rumor has it that back in the Holtville days Monique what the Margarita "queen". If you're lucky Mark R may make a guest appearance at the Porsche blender again tomorrow night. Be there!

Oh Yeah...that was "back in the day". This was the deal...we would pour Margaritas down all the competition on Saturday night, get them hurtin' and then kick their butts on Sunday at Timed Runs.

Great instructional video Kris, complete with shifting and speed info. Presume your gearing is stock? 5-speed, right? Wish I had been there.

Thanks. The overlay of data on video was my goal; this has been made much easier by the recent releases from RacePak and TrackVision. I think I need to move my camera forward for a better view of the track, though.

No, I now have a short ratio 6-speed (not that it has made me any faster!).

Fun times, as always. How are those head gaskets coming along?

Interesting about your gearing and good to know to better understand your gear choices. Thank you for posting the video. A must-see for anybody that wants to improve their times at Spring Mountain.

Had to get a new head for my car but some parts were different than the 86 original and that became a problem. We borrowed a head but then the ignition switch disintegrated which was the straw that broke the camels back. Now we will fix everything properly. Still, it will be a long wait until the October event.

Saw that your brother could join the fun. A smart move on the part of the club so that others can get an idea of the fun they have been missing.
