San Diego Performance Driving School

Just a heads up on the May 22-24 SDR performance driving school coming up Fri.night class Sat-Sun. driving. For the first tme in some time the school is not full and accepting students with other clubs and other types of cars..i.e. (if you can fog a mirror and have car).... ;)

It's a great deal @ 295.00 for Friday night class with perf. driving basics, Saturday in car exercises (skid pad-threashold braking-accident avoidance-throttle steering) pastry-coffee morning, catered Lunches and some of the best instructors in the nation. Then on Sunday it's an Auto Cross with your personal instructor where you will drive in his strret/race car to get the line & feeling of the track at speed. After some runs with diferent instructors and cars your car will be up with you and your instructor. I've seen the AX track map and it's a standard Qualcom 1.5 mile track with all the elements of performance driving.
This was the single biggest learning experiance for myself in a Porsche with some of the nicest people that do care about Saftey, your car and your experiance as a Porsche or other sports car owner.
You could also stay Monday and enjoy a relaxing day at the beach after the driving experiance.
To get all the specifics and more just e-mail Dan Chambers at

Cheers! Rick
