Thank you to all of the volunteers and instructors who came together to make this great event happen. The feedback I got from the students at the end of the day Sunday was overwhelmingly positive. As we've said before, San Diego Region has the greatest instructors in PCA. I had a few students tell me that multiple instructors taught them the same techniques, the same way and in the same words and that it really drove those points home. Thank you for your time and for sharing your knowledge to the next generation of PCA SDR drivers!! You are the best.

Yes, the slaves have been given identical brain washing
Just kidding, we do it because we love it and we want to share it with the newbies.
Thanks Dan, Mark, and Chuck, for being the REAL slaves. Again.......

"Thanks Dan, Mark, and Chuck, for being the REAL slaves. Again....... "

You can add Debbie Sharp to that short list. She worked harder during the weekend event than 5 of us put together.

This was my first time instructing at this event and was very impressed by how comprehensive it was in terms of instructional content and how well all organizational details were taken care of, from track set-up to food catering and even the celebration at the end. Congratulations organizers and volunteers, for sure this Performance Driving School is one of the most effective means of advancing the Club's objective of recruiting more members.

The students of this PDS got unprecedented driving time and attention. Hopefully, they will tell all their friends! The CDIs and all involved were volunteers on steroids. Thanks for taking care of Phil as a student, too. What's taken years for me to accomplish, he replicated in a weekend. Pretty sure that was a good marketing move!

I, too, wish to thank everyone involved in making this a great event. While the numbers may have been low, the energy, enthusiasm and effort were huge! To all of the volunteers (Driving Event Chairs, Instructors, and non-Instructor Volunteers) you guys and gals ROCK! The School couldn't happen without you. It was YOUR school. Be proud. 8)

Quite a few students had smiles and grins that didn't diminish, even at the very end of Sunday evening.

As for drive-time, Jackie's word works perfectly: "unprecedented." Not only did the Students have ample drive time (60-minute run sessions), the Instructors did, too. In fact, more than one Instructor had to borrow their student's cars for their last 2 or 3 laps (out of 9) because their own cars or tires/brakes called it quits! some stopped at 7 or 8, saying: "I've had enough."

For those of you absent, I can only say sorry you missed out, and ... be there in October. :beerchug:

 Thanks to all!
