Drivers for the Monday DE at the Speedway Infield:

To drive in the event you need one of the following;
1. Valid 2009 Zone 8 Permit
2. Valid Zone 8 Student Log-Book

If you have an older Z8 permit, you can renew with me Monday (I should be there 7:00am). Cost is $10.00 cash or check payable to PCA Zone 8.

I KNOW A LOT OF YOU FALL INTO THE "RENEW" CATEGORY - SEE ME AT THE EVENT! :!:

If you have a permit/license from another club (POC CR, TT, STS, SCCA, etc.), you need to get a 2009 PCA Zone 8 Permit.
Some of you I know already, but please bring your "other club" credentials. The Zone 8 permit allows you to run all our PCA Time Trials and DEs.
Again, Cost is $10.00 cash or check payable to PCA Zone 8.

I will have Log-Books for sale at the event - $10.00 cash or check payable to PCA Zone 8. You must have sufficient autocross or other
track experience to get a Log-Book and run as a student. The $10 for the book also covers your first year permit (after you get signed off).

Thanks in advance for helping to keep your credentials up-to-date!

Looking forward to sharing a great event with you.

Not to be rude, but isn't it a bit late for this post? I just happened to log on and see this. This wasn't posted on the main thread on this event, which is several pages long and has gone on for several weeks now, to my knowledge.

I've got none of these. I've done two days @ Streets via Speed Ventures and POC since I've been back in Calif. I've run in Maverick Region PCA in TX for several years in yellow group, two notches up from Green and Blue. Probably 30 or so track days, plus several at some of the country club tracks on member days. We had no logbooks and no credentials. So, please advise.

I would've thought I'd gotten a call or an e-mail on my background prior to now, considering I registered weeks ago. Please note that I did note my experience with my registration.

Ed:

You're fine with your experience - don't worry.

This note is a reminder for all folks to take care of the permit or book at the event if they need to - mainly for the dozen or so with expired permits who need to renew.

Hi Kevin, I was definitely there-helping to set the pace in the white group all 5 sessions. I was in garage 13. I'm still grinning after spending most of the day today in LA traffic on the 405.

I meant CRAIG! I've been working most of the day with a customer named Kevin, and had his name on my brain. For some reason, I can't edit posts on my phone....
