Someone said the hotel said "sold out". But if you ask for the Porsche Club rooms you'll find that we still have 18 rooms left, under confirmation #s of 90868, 90867, and 90866. But don't wait! Rooms get released Oct. 1 and the rodeo is in town! So drop everything, make your rez and register. If any of you are new to the track, this is the best track south of Infineon.

I was one of the ones who called to find no room at the inn until I said, "Hey wait I am a personal friend of Jack Millers!"
Then all the doors were then wide open.
Don't wait and feel the horror of being able to go and having no place to stay!
From what I found calling around these are the only rooms left anywhere in the area!
This is a great event you don't want to miss!
Call and reserve now!
There are three less rooms than there was 10 minutes ago!

Paul,
I think they have a room for you at the Chicken Ranch. If that's full you could see if they'll let you crash at the UFO radio station.

As a customer, or employee?

If you become an employee you may not get the rest you need at night to be able to drive during the day. You might be able to make enough to cover your expenses for the weekend though. I think you'd better at the UFO radio station.

I just tried the Best Western and they report full. So, I reluctantly made a reservation at the Nugget.
Did anyone verify the rate that they are being charged?
Jack's form says $69 for Friday and $79 for Saturday. They told me it was $79 for both nights!
I still made the reservation until I can find a way to get into the BW.

West Western is SOLD out!
So is Saddle West... the only other places are beyond scary B&B's (Trailers converted to rooms with shared bathrooms in rugged ranch settings)
I talked to all the "Hotels" in town before throwing Jacks name around and there are a bunch of things going on in town (4H, softball tournament, and some coyboy thing) as well as some gun/military training place new to the area that has been taking up a lot of hotel space.
They said, and I quote: "Pahrump is the worlds busiest place with absolutely nothing to do"!
I prefer the B-Western, but was happy to have a bed and shower anywhere... so I will be at the Nugget this time.
Just because I hate being unprepared (like this time) I made my Button Willow hotel reservations as well!

The Nuggget was recently rennovated. Anyone who hasn't stayed there in a while will likely be pleasantly surprised. It's no Four Seasons, but all-in-all it's in line with the BW.

My only real issue has been the smoke of the casino as I can't deal with cigarette smoke.
But since I haven't stayed since our first or second year out the track I will give a post event report on the changes.

Hold your breath - you ought to be used to that from the track.

Will the hotel get a 1 to 5 SG star rating?

You are loosing your touch...
I would have expected something like:
"Will the hotel get a 1 to 5 SG spin rating?"
