Looking to replace the seat in my racecar. Would like to get a seat with built in side head supports in addition to being HaNs friendly.
Looking for feedback on eitehr the Sabelt Taurus or Sparco Circuit Pro. I have also looked at the Recaro version but find it difficult to spend $1500 on a seat that I doubt it is twice as safe as others (based on cost).
Thanks
E

I have the Sparco Circuit Pro and I love the seat. It is a narrow seat and fits me fine. A heavier driver would not fit. It really holds you in place on high G load corners on track events like TT's and DE's on race tracks. I sat in a lot of seats of other people's cars before I settled on this seat. Hans device works fine with it too.
At the next event you attend, sit in some seats and try some out, or come by Escondido and try my seat out for fit.

Thank you for the feedback Greg. I might take you up on the sit in offer at your place. Will let you know.

Sit in the Recaro before you pass it up; I find it to be the most comfortable out there.

I have the Recaro and have driven 1 hour straight in the seat with perfect comfort. I love the seat and have never driven in one that I like better. It is expensive but fits perfect and has the indent for the HANS device.
My 2 cents
