This is one of my favorite tracks, not just for the great track but for real bathrooms and huge garages with a race parts store and tire store on site.
Speaking of garages... These are the nicest Garages on our circuit (sounds pretty cool when you say it like that.) They are also the largest by far. (2.5 car) You can get 3 cars and all your stuff in there over night and 2 cars in there during the day. I think we got 4 in there one cold and rainy weekend.
Lights, power and air are included.
It's $150 for the weekend and pretty cheap when split between racer friends.
Here is the track contact info-call for a reservation and see if they have any spaces left.
BUTTONWILLOW RACEWAY PARK
24551 Lerdo Highway
Buttonwillow, California 93206
phone: 661.764.5333
fax: 661.764.5334
Don't miss out this is our last event of the year at a really great track.
See you all there

We'll as of Monday, there were no garages left. Anybody willing to share a garage and fee with me?

Opp sorry- I guess the thread title should have been "Hey Dan..."
But then I realized you probably won't even show up...
Isn't there a AARP convention that weekend?

Steve,
Couldn't pass this up. I believe after Spring Mt. there is another reason he won't show up.

Richard,
Couldn't pass this up. If you've got time to post to the forum, you've got time to sign up for Buttonwillow.

You all suck!!...
I was looking for a way to drop 400lbs out of my car to compete with you Richard, however, I need the motor IN the car...
Would love to be there to heckle you all, but I will not be able to make it. Maybe Dieters will sponsor me next year...

Dan-all kidding aside, truly sorry you won't be able to make it.
Dieter's aka Steve ALREADY provided you support at Spring Mt. ! His coaching saved you several SECONDS on late braking alone. Wish I had a passenger seat so he could coach me too. Maybe the 30 lbs I saved isn't worth not being able to access an instructor.

Hey, what do you mean!?! I'm there ..... Oh, you mean the
other Dan. Sounds like Dan needs a 3.6 and some sympathy.
Dan, if your engine is really on the floor of your garage you ought to call Mark Kinninger about "engine options." He might have just what you need. Well, that ... and a few lessons from Jad on driving skills.

Hey Sean,
Yes they have water and power... No waste hookups!
All the camp sites have 20/30/50 amp power, concrete pads
