PCA SDR

Im not sure how many of you know about these race series, but this is really up my alley. Problem is that i dont have any friends who have the $ or "want to".

This seems like a great way to get some track time, not spend too much $$, and hang out at the track.

Im looking for some teammates. Maybe someone with a shop so we can work on a car. I got a trailer, some usual tools and a big ole lump of motivation to get going on one of these.

The SoCal dates that i see between the two similar series are:

30-31 January 2010
Willow Springs Raceway (Rosamond, CA)
10-11 July 2010
Auto Club Speedway (Fontana, CA)
4-5 December 2010
LeMons Arse-Freeze-Apalooza (Los Angeles CA)

There are also multiple NoCal and AZ/NV events, if the team is willing.

Hi,
I know this is an old post, but I am wondering if anyone is still interested in doing one or some of these? I've done 5 of these races and they are an absolute BLAST! It is kind of pricey when you factor in all the costs, and if the car breaks down or you don't finish the race and you didn't even get to drive that much you don't get your money back.... But it's definitely a lot of fun.

Anyways, if there are some people that aren't too serious or uptight and just want to have a good time on the track, maybe we could put together a PCA team or 2.
