Do we have a schedule yet for the 2010 Time Trials?

Here are the dates to block on your calendar for now:

January 29-31 Big Willow
April 9-11 California Festival of Speed (Auto Club Speedway)
May 1-2 Spring Mountain
October 9-10 AND* 16-17 Spring Mountain

*Note that we will NOT have two back-to-back weekends at Spring Mountain in October. We will only have one, we just don't know which one yet so please block off both for now and once we're set we will post a notice so you can free up a weekend.

Buttonwillow 2010 is still TBA and I will post as soon as we have a confirmed date. If you want to block off something, assume the same weekend as this year for now, so November 20-21.

Also, for 2010 we plan to post other region's TT's on our calendar as well. Tentatively for now we know about:

May 21-23 Buttonwillow (GPR/GGR)
September 25-26 Auto Club Speedway (OCR)

I don't believe Buttonwillow has confirmed anyone's dates yet so the May date is just for blocking purposes. Note that event is planned to be run in conjunction with a club race.

POC dates we should try to work around are;
May 1-2 WSIR (Triple Crown) - Hope we can change Spring Mountain (Late April, or second weekend of May?)
Oct 9-10 Vegas Outside Track - If we have a choice, pick the Oct 16-17 weekend for PCA TT.
Nov 13-14 Buttonwillow - If we're the following weekend, no problem.

Do we have any "Streets" dates?

Will we do Streets in conjunction with Big Willow like we did this year?

No Streets date yet. Working on it and will post if we get one. The January Willow date is three days all at the big track (2.5 mile road course).

OCR's TT is on a Tuesday/Wednesday?

Typo. Fixed above. OCR's Zone 8 TT/DE is September 25-26 at Auto Club Speedway.

The date situation is dynamic and while we do have three days at Big Willow booked right now we just became aware of the possibility to switch it to a Big Willow/Streets combo event. Please see the poll I just posted in fresh thread: http://forum.pcasdr.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3710

The full 2010 Time Trial schedule, including events hosted by other Regions within Zone 8, is now available at:

http://www.pcasdr.org/porsche_events/track_events/timetrial/calendar/index.php

And registration for the first events of the year, three days at Streets/Big Willow, is now open online at http://pcasdr.motorsportreg.com.

Robert,

Is the plan still to do 1 SPring Mountain TT and not 2 as the schedule indicates? Otherwide, the month of May is REALLY impacted with SPring Mt. the 1st week of the month, followed by a DE at Fontana the 2nd week and then a TT at Buttowillow the 3rd week.

Back to back TT in Sept with the high probability of the Coronado Speedfest DE the same week is going to be a challenge ........

The schedule as posted is correct and has been approved by the SDR Board at this week's meeting. So we will be at Spring Mountain twice and at Buttonwillow in September, all as indicated in the schedule.

The May Buttonwillow TT is a GPX region TT not SDR.

The Sept TT at Auto Club Speedway is an OCR region event not SDR.
