Hi all,

Though I am a relative Porsche neophyte I see two indicators that something is wrong here. I will hold off on my thoughts till others take a swing . Have at it folks.

lol...I didnt see that Jerry! Looks painful

I should wait on this, but the two I see are:

As I understand there wasnt a 944 "S2" until 1989 and this is an '85

It has the reverse tach, Didnt that go away before '85? (I might be wrong here)

Mark,
I may be mistaken, but I am sure that this is the same car that Jerry originally listed the first time. :surr:
If so, "Don't buy this car!" :banghead:

With the wear on the seats and other interior parts it has at least 133,xxx miles on it. It's an 83 to early 85. The antenna is the least of your worries. Expensive items to look for: Clutch, A arms, belts, seals and water pump. If they don't have records (and you know they don't) get it checked out. The original style clutch gives out at the worst possible time (ask me how I know) :banghead:,

This was the 2nd car, But the link was broken :banghead:
"The body is in excellent condition with no signs of damage" What about the big dent in the drivers door :?
the first one was $11,000 This one is in better shape, for less ,what a deal

ok. I have been watching your threads long enough. I have a car for you.
I was hoping to keep the car but In reality I dont use it... need it or ... sigh... have time for it.

I have a 1987 924S
Its black/black
very nice. clean.. NICE!

Bilsteins, MO30 front swaybar
front and rear delrin bushings for sway bar. Rear racers edge brackets
new waterpump, timing belts/balance belts... all new rollers.
delrin shifter bushings. fresh tune up!
it has 250lb springs on the front right now but i can throw the stock ones back on it.
I had the radiator refreshed when I did the water pump.
brakes have turned rotors, porterfield RS4 pads front and rear... RBF600 fluid in the system. calipers were rebuilt
this car can not only win GSS or GS but it could drive to New York the weekend before.
it has a CD player too!
This is a great buy at $3500

It could use some fresh rubber

Lets chat :D

(the funny thing is this really was just a thread about a mis-advertized car, but I'm not complaining)
