Shop Space - Make or Buy?

Hello,

I have a few plots of industrial-zoned land. I was considering building some garages on one of them and plumbing them with air so I could have some shop space to work on my cars. BUT, building is expensive, and I could rent some shop space elsewhere. Would anyone be interested in renting some shop space to store and work on their vehicles? I have no idea what I'd have to charge, but I *think* that for a 20'x40' garage, I might charge ~$500/month or so + utilities. Of course since our cars aren't cheap, I'll fence the place in and make the garage doors lockable. Since my land is zoned for industrial use, you'd have 24/7 access, and you can fire up your 996 sans exhaust anytime you feel like it.

Would anyone be interested? If maybe 20 people might be interested, then it might be worth it to build a bunch of garages... try the poll above.

Tim Comeau is looking at renting space for the same reasons only a little closer to town. You may want to get in touch with Tim and maybe?.. :?:

Thanks for the reminder, Bill. :)
Yes, I'm looking for people who want to store their vehicles in an existing warehouse in El Cajon. Security gates, cameras. I would be working out of the warehouse, too.
