San Diego New Years Drive!

Postby Chaoscreature on Mon Dec 21, 2009 2:38 pm

There is talk brewing on Rennlist and the Pelican Forums of an alternative tour to the BIG tour up in Los Angeles on New Years day. If interested, chime in on the Pelican and/or Rennlist forums.

Here is a link to the Pelican Forum

Hope to see some of you there!

Just an update,
The San Diego New Years Rally is meeting at On The Border Grill at about 7:00AM with a departure time of 7:30AM.
On the Border is located at the South East end of the Westfield Shopping Mall (across from JC Penney) at 298 East Via Rancho Parkway, Escondido, CA 92025

Just a disclamier: this is NOT a PCA endorsed or sponsored event.
I attended another tour organized by the same person and the pace was pretty quick and fun. That being said, I probably had the slowest car in the pack (stock 993) and had no problem keeping up.

Spread the word, it should be a fun event!

Thanks for posting this here!

I think we'll have a number of 911's show, with a couple of others in for good measure. My guess is 12-15 cars. We're leaving the OTB at 7:30, and will take advantage of some of our backroads. Just an informal run, that should have a person back on their way home depending on how long they want to run with the group. No set pace-whatever one is comfortable with, and safety is always the determining factor. As they say, this isn't a race, but rather just a fun drive to start the year.
