No doubt, Martin. Love him or hate him, Schu has always added another dimension to the F1 show. I thought Ferrari had Schu locked up to prevent something like this from happening. Guess not. :?

I'm still trying to keep track of who went where:

Mercedes GP (formerly Brawn): Schumacher & Rosberg
Mclaren Mercedes: Hamilton & Button
Ferrari: Alonzo & Massa
Red Bull: Vettel & Webber
Williams: Barichello & Hulkenberg
Force India: Sutil & Luizzi
Virgin/Manor: Glock & di Grassi
Lotus: Trulli & Kovalainen
Sauber (formerly BMW): Kobayashi & TBD
Toro Rosso: Buemi & TBD
Renault: Kubica & TBD
Campos: senna (little Senna) & TBD
US F1: Waiting for a copy of Martin's birth certificate

Kobayashi subbed for Glock in the Toyota the last two races of the season and finished 9th at Brazil and 6th at Abu Dhabi, bettering Trulli on both outings and passing some pretty good drivers. The F1 teams all have a pretty good sense of where everyone's car stacks up, and how good all the veteran's are, so when someone scores points in a mid-pack car on his second outing, they must have seen something.

p.s. I stayed at a hotel ON the Singapore street circuit three weeks ago. Of course, all the lights were gone. The ashphalt in front of the hotel was VERY NICE (I'll bet the room charge was a lot higher in September).

Yes, I think Kobayashi is a great addition to the F1. He is fast, aggressive and good for the show with fun passing.

And to add to what you've already mentioned, Kobayashi did not have the luxury of any testing because of the in season ban on tests, even for replacement drivers due to injury (ie. Schumacher with Massa and Koby with Glock). This guy is good!

You can get an email notice when they become available. Canada is probably still figuring out how much to charge so they can pay Bernie. I can't believe he's still around. He must have made a deal with the devil.
