Some observations about the Patrese clip:

1) She did say "please" several times.
2) Based on my understanding of Italian, I don't think his mother ever came into the conversation.
3) She seemed very "impressed" with Ricardo's entry speed, as well as how late he was braking (once the pace picked up, she was concerned for several seconds before the speed dropped going into the corners.
4) Marrying a younger woman seems to have kept Ricardo young as well (ahem).
5) At no time does she ever grab her husband's arm (don't ask).
6) She does display a good sense of humor when she finds out that the lap was caught on video.
7) At the end, she suddenly develops the ability to complain in English.

At the end of it, I think she was a good sport.
Are they still together?
