Fairmont Butte Motorsports Park

There is another track proposed for S. Cal. that I have just heard about, to be located west of Lancaster, not far from Willow Springs. I wish there was someone doing this in San Diego County, but for anyone who is interested in seeing another venue not too far away from here, you might visit their site and check out the plans. They are still at least 3 years away from building it out, if they can get approval from the LA planning dept. Planning commission staff have recommended approval, but there are more hurdles to clear and public hearings coming up. They are soliciting letters of support, so if you can take some time to email LA County Commisioners, it might help:

This is most welome. Willow Springs has spent very little to maintain or improve their facility. I think they pride themselves in having some of the most unsafe runoff areas. :banghead:
