Hi all. Since my wife is not up for driving at AX events, she would like be doing something rather than "just sitting in the pits". Though I think she would make a totally hot "pit gal" she is hesitant to don the mini-skirt and belly-tee look :lol:

Since we are unsure if we can make every AX it might not be a good idea to offer to "meister" something, but is there something she can do during the day? Maybe learn to work in the trailer?

Hey Mark

How is she with computers? Never hurts to have someone new on the timing team. Of course, if she's comfortable with the microphone, there is always announcing too.

She is pretty good with computers and is a fast learner. Her comments to reading you post were:

Of course there is a lot to be done very early in the morning, but the other thing that is ongoing through the day is managing the corner workers. They might appreciate some assistance as well.

OMG! We'd love to meet Kari and show her around the trailer and registration stuff. We currently have 2 people, Cathy Young and me, working "day of" registration, but it would be great to have a 3rd, especially if she would consider filling in when one or the other of us can't make it. We do have to be there early, and it's hectic, but it's fun and you get to know alot of people. And we're pretty much done by about 9-9:30am.
