Ah, Buttonwillow. Where else can you see the trucks and minivans lumbering by in the background? It seems like only a couple of months ago, I was sliding through the infield...

Hey Russell, the only thing missing in that video was you passing after Riverside.

But I thought you LIKED driving side-by-side, like NASCAR. 8)

The tires are fine, I want the green and blue "carrying case" they were on

There was a good article in Excellence this month on the Team Falken RSR and their preparation/tire testing, trying to take on the heavyweight Porsche teams. They are still a few seconds off the pace of the top cars but trying hard to close the gap. A podium for them this year would be a "win," since they are not running the latest equipment and lack the support of the factory drivers (though this may be changing in the near future.)

"Pardon me, would you happen to have any Gray Poupon?" Lucky for you I was running 225's or I would have had half the right tires in the dirt. Now I know why narrow tires are a good thing.

Jad: I'm sure you could have that "carrying case" if you really, really wanted it. Just plan on sending Miles to a Community College and go get the car. :roflmao:

That video was really good. And Tom's right. The article about Falken chasing the big boys was really educational. There's a lot of work to making those tires.
