PCA SDR

Hey guys,

Just checking to see how many 944-Spec cars plan on attending the May AAA Speedway DE? I'm torn between attending with SDR or my home region, OCR.

I had a fantastic time with you guys last May, so I'm hoping many similar prepped 944s will be attending so we can "play." I know it's not a race, I'm just saying, it's good for comparison. If nobody chimes in, I'll go with OCR ,since last September nearly half the field went home by the final sessions! More track time for me

We will have our 944 Spec car there.
It is early, but we usually have quite a few Spec cars at the DE's.

Why not do both? Aren't they a couple of weeks apart?

Registration for the May 8th DE just opened up this past weekend, but I know that some other 944 cars will attend (aside from those that have already posted here).

Given that it's on a Saturday instead of a Monday, we anticipate more cars attending.

Early bird reg. for the lowest price ends on April 8th.

I've already registered and will be there with my 944spec car.

It's a great track for these cars.

Cool, so it sounds like at least a couple thus far confirmed.

Chuck: I would do both, but I'm trying to spread my events between PCA and NASA. I'm shooting for my race license this year. Can't afford to do every single track day sadly...

Saw your Rothmans 924S the other day at Cal Speedway. Paint looks great. We had 10 944 Spec racers at the NASA event with another 3 doing the HPDE part of the event. Then, there was you couple guys in the parking lot at the OC Region AX. Great 944 Spec weekend!!

Thanks, Tim. I must have just missed you. I'm signed up for NASA HPDE at Buttonwillow in June (Sunday only). Still working on my race license...but life keeps getting in the damn way.

Yeah, I think you were working corners at the AX. I talked to a guy who had "west" in his last name.
I might be able to work some magic for you at NASA events......
